LINCOLN, CA—Thunder Valley Casino Resort is slated to add 111 luxury rooms and suites to its hotel this year. The project will include a complete renovation of its existing 297 rooms within the 17-story tower.
“Some of the best design and construction companies in the business have been selected to make it happen, and we can’t wait for the day when our guests see the remarkable design features in store for them,” said Dawn Clayton, general manager.
The interior project is expected to take 18 months to complete, while creating more than a 100 construction jobs in the area, according to Clayton. Architectural and interior design services were developed by YWS, and Flint Builders will oversee the build-out process. The luxury room and suite expansion plus renovation of existing rooms are scheduled to take place during non-peak periods.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort is owned and operated by the United Auburn Indian Community. Located 30 miles east of Sacramento, the resort property features 250,000 sq. ft. of gaming space, 14 restaurants and bars and a 17-story hotel with a large banquet and entertainment hall.
