Town and Country Hotel in San Diego to Debut Updates this Summer
Town and Country, a landmark property in San Diego for more than 60 years, will be debuting its renovation later this summer. The property’s multimillion-dollar renovation will cue all eras of the hotel’s history throughout its new midcentury-modern designed spaces and evoke a casual California aesthetic that draws and inspires visitors of all ages and locals to create memories and make connections with each other, San Diego and the past. The update will include a new pool complex, including a zero-entry pool, children’s pool and waterslide; three new and renovated room towers, for a total of 675 rooms, featuring balconies overlooking San Diego or the resort; three new restaurants; three-acre open-air activities lawn along the San Diego River; and refreshed meeting spaces throughout its convention center with social distancing and new protocols in place.
