ASPEN, CO—With the completion of 120 guestrooms, Rowland+Broughton Architecture / Urban Design / Interior Design has finalized an interior renovation of The Limelight Hotel, located across from Wagner Park in downtown Aspen.
The new design aesthetic features a lighter, nature-inspired color palette as well as new furnishings, finishes and soft goods. Sustainable specifications include post-consumer carpet tile and integration of existing case goods and artwork.
“The Limelight is a great example of how the vibrant yet relaxed Aspen lifestyle can be integrated into a hotel experience,” said Rowland+Broughton Principal, Sarah Broughton, AIA. “Our team was able to offer creative solutions in function and design, resulting in providing the highest level of service to our client and accommodating the needs of hotel guests. We are proud to be a part of such an amazing project.”
Richard Stettner, managing director of The Limelight Hotel, added, “I could not be more excited, as the guest room renovation gives a new and more contemporary feel to our hotel. Our goal is to provide our guests with the best overall experience and we feel that the upgrades provided by Rowland+Broughton has helped make this another great season.”
Additional Limelight renovations by Rowland+Broughton include six guest suites with updated furniture and the informal lobby, where earthy wood tones, a brightened color palette and flexible seating groups create a living room-like experience.
