KnollTextiles’ Renaissance Collection, inspired by the irregular patterns and textures on the centuries-old buildings in Northern Italy, features three upholstery fabrics that were milled in the country the collection counts as its muse.
Old-world Italian screen-printing techniques were applied to a 100% polyester ground making Chiseled a high durability product with a deconstructed appearance. Each colorway of Chiseled is created with a ground color, plus five screen colors. Metallic and nonmetallic pigments were custom mixed for a hi/low sheen.
Rebel is a highly textural multicolor upholstery. It was inspired by textural elements on the walkways and side streets of Milan. Chameleon-like Rebel performs equally well as a palette setter or as a companion fabric. Black yarn is combined with a novelty slub yarn of white, plus color in both the warp and weft direction to create nubby texture and dimension.
Instinct is a soft and cozy upholstery woven with polyester chenille yarn. Offered in 15 usable colors that speak to current trends in the marketplace, Instinct offers options for color blocking or deliberate color clashing within an interior. Instinct is stocked with a stain-resistant finish and is durable to 100,000 Double Rubs.
Having the appearance of architectural lace, tri-color Network is a fresh take on open structure drapery that is equally suitable as a space divider as it is a solution for the curtain wall.
Tandem and Quarry are impactful specialty woven wallcoverings. Tandem is a large-scale dynamic design that is both organic and structured, while Quarry is highly tactile with the appearance of a modern dressy grass cloth. Tandem was inspired by the distressed walls seen on buildings in Milan.
