BOSTON—CBT, a Boston-based multi-disciplinary interior, architecture and urban design firm, was honored by the New England Chapter of International Interior Design Association at the IIDA annual awards ceremony on Feb. 27, 2014.
CBT’s interior design was recognized with four awards across hospitality, residential and workplace design including Best Lobby/Hotel Design for the Hotel George in Washington, DC. This included a redesign of 139 guestrooms, suites and corridors into a distinctive destination. According to the firm, the new design provides a more inviting and sophisticated guest experience and captures the revolutionary spirit with a modern twist in the Capital Hill neighborhood.
“Winning these awards across a spectrum of building types shows our team’s innovation and leadership in live, work and stay environments,” said Lois Goodell, director of interiors, CBT. “We are grateful for the honors.”
