NEW YORK—Commercial textile company Carnegie has promoted Aliesha Bishop to Xorel Studio director. In her new role, Bishop will lead the Xorel studio in close collaboration with Xorel Creative Director and EVP, Heather Bush.
The studio will continue pushing the innovation of Carnegie’s sustainable Xorel textile, developing unique solutions for upholstery, wallcoverings or acoustical wall panels for all projects.
“This was a natural step for both Carnegie and Aliesha. Her exceptional contribution to the Xorel studio are due to her love of creativity and instinct for beautiful design,” said Cliff Goldman, president. “We are excited for her to take the lead on leveraging the abundance of design possibilities Xorel offers to create beautiful interiors together with our clients.”
Bishop began her career at Carnegie in 2009 as an intern during her education at Pratt Institute for Interior Design in Brooklyn, NY. Upon graduation, she officially joined the company in product development on Xorel, and later as a senior designer.
