Hudson Valley Lighting has reinterpreted the bell jar lantern with its new Willet collection, which uses the Venetian glass technique dating back to the 13th century. Glass crafters fuse an array for clear rods to Willet’s blown glass. Venetian glass is melted in molds, shaped and fire-polished, creating a soft appearance. One tungsten filament bulb adds dimension and depth in the center. Additional versions include three- and four-light pendants. Willet also features clean metalwork to modernize the classic lantern. The collection is available in semi-flush and pendant options in various sizes in both old bronze and polished nickel finishes.
