DALLAS—The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport recently completed a $1.6-million renovation and complete redesign of its meeting and event space, including 19 meeting rooms, encompassing 38,000 sq. ft. of space.
Under the direction of Meeting Planner International (MPI), the meeting space was consolidated on the ground floor giving the planner the ability to see all of their group’s activities from one vantage point.
The renovation included a refresh to all meeting space including the Oak Ballroom, Irving Lecture Hall, pre-function rooms, breakout rooms as well as the complete refresh of the 10,541-sq.-ft. Trinity Ballroom. All carpet, wall vinyl, lighting, artwork, paint, woodwork and chairs have been refreshed.
All of the flexible meeting space features audiovisual capabilities and full banquet and catering services. Meetings rooms come equipped with wireless high-speed Internet access, extensive pre-function space, a built-in registration desk, lecture hall-type seating and on-site office spaces.
