TOKYO—Park Hotel Tokyo has completed its artist floor project, comprising 31 artist rooms decorated by selected Japanese artists. The artists in residence painted on walls and ceilings while staying at the hotel and took inspiration from the concept “beauty of Japan.”
Park Hotel Tokyo started the project in December 2012. Beginning Aug. 7, three artist rooms will be open to the public every day. Visitors and guests are welcome.
“We are proud to announce that all 31 artist rooms are finally complete, each encapsulating Japanese beauty. We guarantee that guests will experience an exciting stay surrounded by powerful art in the Artist Rooms,” said Hotel Manager Atsushi Ono.
