WASHINGTON, DC—The DC office of international design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman hs hired Kathleen M. Claire as an associate. With more than 25 years of design experience in the hospitality and commercial markets, she will build on the firm’s established practice for hotel, resort, club and workplace design. Claire was most recently with the Washington, DC office of CORE architecture + design, and has also worked for Gensler and STUDIOS Architecture.
Principal Barbara Mullenex, AIA, one of the leaders of Perkins Eastman’s hospitality and workplace interiors studios, remarked, “Kathleen is a skilled designer and passionate client advocate who will complement our growing regional and national practice.”
Claire’s roster of clients includes Marriott International, Courtyard by Marriott and Willard Intercontinental, among others. Her work has been recognized with awards from the IIDA, AIA and Washington Building Congress.
