DALLAS—JMJ Development, LLC, of Dallas, builder of luxury real-estate properties, has formed a partnership with YOO, a global property design and lifestyle company, to build multiple projects in North and South America.
YOO was co-founded in 1999 by international entrepreneur John Hitchcox and celebrated designer Philippe Starck. JMJ Development, founded in 1990 by Tim Barton, focuses on high-end hospitality and luxury developments as well as community projects and master-planned communities. The company has developed projects in several different states and globally. Barton said JMJ and YOO will be announcing projects in the near future.
“The main reason we see value in the partnership with YOO is that it was founded by John Hitchcox and Philippe Stark,” said Barton, who is JMJ’s CEO and president. “They are among the finest names in business and design, and YOO has a long and distinguished history in the boutique hotel industry.”
