ATLANTA—InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the Hotel Indigo brand’s third Metro Atlanta area hotel, the 160-room Hotel Indigo Atlanta-Vinings.
Owned by Rialto Capital Management, and managed by Valor Hospitality Partners, the Hotel Indigo Atlanta-Vinings hotel is located at 2857 Paces Ferry just 20 minutes from Downtown Atlanta, according to IHG.
Hotel Indigo Atlanta-Vinings features a front desk resembling whiskey distillery barrels inspired by the abundance of local whiskey once produced in the area. Guestrooms and elevator lobbies feature murals depicting the history of the riverfront town, crafted to create the illusion of a front porch view in historic Vinings.
The hotel’s restaurant and bar, The Public House at Vinings, serves locally inspired dishes with a southern flair. Atlanta-based Jake’s Ice Cream created Bourbon Pecan as a custom flavor for the restaurant. Signature cocktails feature house-made syrups and juices, as well as spirits from local distillers, American Spirit Whiskey and Old Fourth Ward.
The hotel also offers guests and locals the opportunity to enjoy seasonal and locally sourced food and drinks from purveyors such as Caly Road Creamery, Heywood’s Meathaus, Revere Meats, Wild Heaven, 3 Taverns, Monday Night Brewing, Sweetwater Brewing Company and Red Hare Brewing.
Guestrooms attempt to offer a residential-like aesthetic with hard-surface flooring, area rugs and spa-inspired bathrooms, according to IHG. The Vinings hotel features the brand’s Neighborhood Guide, a touchscreen display that connects guests to each other, the local neighborhood and to Hotel Indigo locations around the world.
