NEW YORK—The Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados has embarked on a renovation project, encompassing the hotel lobby and all 72 guestrooms and suites. It is expected to be completed by November 15, followed by a restaurant renovation in summer 2018.
Design agency Richmond International has been commissioned to oversee the overall design concept, drawing inspiration from the hotel’s plantation heritage and oceanfront location.
The hotel will remain open now through September 28, with all amenities, food and beverage services and activity options unaffected, according to the company. The hotel will be closed for the invasive part of the renovation, from late September to mid-November.
