MANNASSAS, VA—DH Global Logistics has opened a new office and warehouse facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The new facility is the third location in North America for the DH Companies, including DH Elements, DH Hospitality Group, DH Global Logistics and Global Sustainability Solutions, which also operate in Virginia and Colorado.
“This warehouse is a state-of-the-art facility and greatly increases our ability to provide customers with an option for trans-loading their cargo from West Coast ports,” said Scott Hillig, CEO, DH Global Logistics.
According to Hillig, there are many West Coast ports struggling to handle additional capacity of larger ships and some are acquiring or working with off-site storage yards for sorting containers in an effort to free up space on the docks. “The DH warehouse facility will help alleviate the trans-loading process for our customers and ensure a white glove service,” he said.
The 35,000 sq. ft. climate controlled facility features office and full-service warehouse space. The standalone industrial building is fully insured, contains sprinklers and provides heating and cooling depending on the type of hospitality product within the facility, according to the company.
DH Global Logistics COO Janet Harrington and Robert Unger, VP of operations, will work out of the new office along with several warehouse and office personnel.
“This is an exciting period of growth for the DH Companies as we expand all of our services coast to coast,” said Harrington. “Efforts to simplify cost savings as well as other benefits we offer as a company, will make DH the clear go-to choice for single source service solutions in transportation, warehousing, recycling and installation for manufacturers of product, as well as hotel and multi-family brands.”
