NEW YORK—International architect and interior designer Lauren Rottet has debuted her inaugural furniture line titled Rottet Home Collection.
The collection, preceded by the designer’s portfolio of projects in hospitality, commercial and residential design, includes dining room, upholstery and occasional furnishings. Gray cerused oak veneers, acrylic, carrara marble and stainless steel highlight the list of materials used to craft over 33 pieces ranging from $1,708 – $12,570.
Available for purchase in April 2014, the collection is separated into three distinct lifestyles, each representing specific spaces for which Rottet created the designs:
Montauk Gray— Inspired by Rottet’s Montauk, New York home.
Contemporary Cubist—Inspired by the avant-garde art movement of the 20th Century, specifically the work of Georges Braque.
Rattan—Echoing Montauk Gray, Rattan pieces were created to be light in design, acting as elegant accents to complement larger scaled pieces in the collection.
